Welcome to Spellbound Kitchen, where Chef Julia Preis weaves culinary magic for your dining pleasure! With a passion for creating soulful dishes, Julia brings the flavors of the world to your table. Every meal is crafted with the highest quality ingredients, ensuring a delightful fusion of wellness and excitement in every bite.

Chef Julia's culinary journey began in 2018 with her first venture, an at-home bakery in southern CT by the name of Baker of Black Rock. Delivering gorgeous cakes and luxury, hand-painted sugar cookies, her small business soon became sought after by celebrities such as Martha Stewart and other high-profile clientele. Baker of Black Rock has been highlighted in various publications around the world such as Business Insider, People Magazine, and the Daily Mail UK, as well as many others. After a move to Los Angeles in 2021, Baker of Black Rock became Spellbound Cookies, and soon developed another fantastic community of exciting clients.

Simultaneously, Chef Julia has had the privilege to work under some of the best chefs in the country from coast to coast, furthering her study of global cuisine and technique. It is with the encouragement of these incredible mentors that Julia opened Spellbound Kitchen, to share her passion for crafting extraordinary dining experiences with wonderful clients. Chef Julia is ever-evolving in her techniques and repertoire, relishing the opportunity to bring fresh and exciting dishes to your table.
